Support the development of bond market in Vietnam

In December 2012, the Hanoi Stock Exchange organized a seminar to review the 3 years of establishment of the Government bond market. One important milestone of the development of the Government bond market is the initial success of the Bond swap program, which has been supported by GIZ.

 Welcome to the Website of the MPI-GIZ Macroeconomic Reform  Program

The Macroeconomic Reform Program of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) and German Technical Cooperation (now GIZ) started in December 2005. It aims at strengthening the market economy institutions of Vietnam. The Program's focus is on the legal framework and its implementation in areas key for developing a market economy: enterprise and investment law, law on planning, state budget law, and a number of laws and regulations governing the financial sector and capital markets.
